Many professional services are built on trust… but their websites destroy it.

When your online identity looks outdated, you:

  • Feel embarrassed whenever someone asks for your website

  • Lose visitors to competitors who look more trustworthy

  • Waste days hacking and fixing, as core issues go ignored

Professionals shouldn't be held back by second-rate sales-systems.

AlexKelso - Sydney-based Website Designer

Hi, I'm Kelso.

I'm a digital strategist in Sydney, Australia.

Early in my career, I specialised in launching Western brands into China via cross-border eCommerce.

In a market that competitive, even corporations with huge budgets fail all the time. Truth is, the difference between success and failure is almost never luck. If you skip the fundamentals, you’re doomed to trip at the startline.

👉 Those lessons shaped how I work today.

The Website in a Week package boils down everything I’ve learned about building a high-converting sales system - so you can get back to running and growing your business.

Time to reclaim control

Website in a Week

The Website in a Week package is a collaborative service combining business strategy with web design. It gives your business new online foundations.

Your new digital strategist

Alex Kelso | Sydney, Australia

I help professional service firms transform outdated, clunky websites into high-performing sales assets that build credibility and convert.

Unlike most web designers, my career started in the commerce and finance - not Photoshop.

I've worked as:

  • an Account Manager building cross-border eCommerce stores for western businesses in China;

  • a Product Manager (eCommerce & integrations) at an Australian Payments company, and now;

  • I'm running my own web design and Conversion Rate Optimisation studio here in Sydney, Australia.

I’ve helped clients recover from every digital nightmare imaginable - hacked sites, broken tool stacks, broken payments systems, fragmented analytics and vanishing site traffic.

With Website in a Week, you get my full process for creating a website that attracts and converts your dream clients, whilst reclaiming control over your digital identity.

This is your reset point. Say goodbye to duct-taped systems, wasted hours fixing breakages, paying unnecessarily inflated agency retainers, and cringing every time a potential client asks for your URL.

It’s time to recreate your most important sales asset

Real Talk

Website in a Week is not for everyone!

If you’re accepted for the Website in a Week (WW) service, we’ll work closely to create a foundation that sets your business up for its next growth phase. But it only works if you’re ready to invest in the process. Here’s who it’s for (and who it isn’t).

You’re the right fit if you are:

  • A professional services firm or solo operator ready to invest in scaling your business.

  • Collaborative and open to receiving expert guidance on design, strategy, and conversions.

  • Comfortable making decisions quickly.

  • Able to commit the time and energy needed to launch a site that truly reflects the calibre of your work. Timely feedback (<24 hours) is important to keeping things on schedule.

  • Clear on your brand direction, messaging and goals (or open to guidance to refine them fast).

  • Ready to roll up your sleeves. You’ll work through portal guides and videos, providing assets like content, testimonials, and imagery.

You’re the right fit if you are:

  • Online retailers. A dedicated Shopify WW offer is in the works. For now, see my custom eCommerce solutions page.

  • Bargain hunters. The WW service is about delivering an extremely high quality, bespoke solution in a rapid timeframe.

  • Slow movers. If long approval chains or lack of time prevent feedback within 12–24 hours, a custom package may be better suited.

  • Pixel perfectionists. If you think you might require long cycles of back-and-forth revision, don't worry! I've got love for you - but please investigate my custom website packages instead.

  • The WW process (inspiration → concept → homepage → build) has been refined over years specifically to minimise final build revisions - with review checkpoints provided at each step.

  • In a one-week timeframe, one major round of final design revisions is supported. Extra rounds revisions can be booked at the standard, very competitively-priced day rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really build something high-quality in just one week?

Yes, but only because of the preparation that takes place in the weeks prior to the build week. Strategy, design inspiration, media & imagery and content are all gathered inside the client portal ahead of time, so by the time we hit day 1, we are ready to hit the ground running.

This package aims to give you the best of both worlds. You get the benefit of a custom, professionally-crafted website delivered in a fraction of the time it would take you to learn how to adapt a Wix or Squarespace template.

Because the process has been honed down to core essentials which drive results, you are not paying for padded timelines or revision cycles you may never use. This means you get a powerful website that is tailored to your brand and strategy in record time.

What if if I need more than five pages? Or a blog? Will this package still work for me?

Of course - that’s totally fine and very common! There are a few standard add-on packages like this that we can get done inside the week.

However if your needs are more extensive, this may involve scheduling in one or several extra ‘design’ days after project completion.

These can be booked easily, at a very competitively priced day rate, or half-day rate.

What if I don’t like the design, and I only get one major round of revision?

The process has been specifically built to nip that scenario in the bud very early on in the process. Let’s break it down:

Onboarding

In the onboarding phase, you’ll provide design inspiration along with any brand or style guides.

-> Concept

Based on all the above, I then create three separate design concepts. In the Strategy session, you review them, give feedback, and we refine it until you’ve approved the direction you like best.

-> Home Page

Next, I build a single home page. Again, you review it, we refine it together, and we only move forward once you’re happy.

-> Build

The rest of the website is then built using the very same, already-approved design system!

So, by the time the first draft of the website is built, you’ve already had several rounds of design review and refinement, which means that 9/10 times, the final revision round is usually very light.

This process has been shaped by years of experience and is the reason Website in a Week works within such a tight timeframe at its price point.

Of course, if you do require additional review rounds, you can always book a Design Day at my standard rate 🙂

What’s included in my 30 days of post-launch support?

The 30-day support window covers functional fixes, such as broken links, form errors, or issues with site integrations. It also includes resolving any bugs that may appear once your site is live.

It does not cover design or styling changes. For that, you can book a design day or half-day at my standard, very competitive rate.

Will I be able to update the website myself?

Absolutely. One of the reasons I use Framer because it’s been so popular with past clients who are non-technical. As a leading NoCode website builder, you’ll be able to confidently manage routine updates such as text changes, new pages, design tweaks etc.

Beyond that, my promise post launch is that you never feel left on your own. You get (i) 30 days of post-launch support, a (ii) dedicated portal with step-by-step video guides (including tutorials for your exact build), and (iii) lifetime access to my Framer courses (once launched).

Can I request extra rounds of revision?

Of course. Just keep in mind that every WW project includes one major round of design revisions, which is almost always enough thanks to the upfront strategy process. If you would like more, additional rounds can be booked at my standard Design Day rate.

As a quick heads up, making content changes in Framer is incredibly easy. Once your site is live, you will have access to a 3-5 minute video in your portal showing you exactly how to safely update text and images yourself. If you can master this, it’s a win-win; saving you time, budget and a great deal of effort!

How much upfront work is required?

It depends on the package you choose.

If Uptrak is drafting your content, expect around 26 hours of upfront work. This usually involves gathering and consolidating your media, testimonials, logos, and design inspiration.

If you are drafting your own content, the timeline will be longer. Some clients finish within days, while others prefer to spend a few weeks refining their messaging. To give you some breathing room, we’ll only schedule the WW project once your copy is finalised (or very near close to finalisation).-

Will my site integrate with the tools I already use?

Almost certainly, yes. The Website in a Week build covers basic integrations with CRMs and mailing lists, such as newsletter sign-ups, simple form embeds, and booking confirmations.

If you need more advanced integrations, like multi-step funnels, tagging, or SMS alerts, that can be scoped as a separate project.

We will review your current tool stack during the clarity call, and if anything looks tricky we will flag it early - though in practice, issues are rare.

What platforms do you build on?

I specialise exclusively in Framer for service-based businesses, and HighLevel (GHL) for businesses who with budget set aside to scale.

All of my past clients love Framer because it strikes the right balance of power and simplicity. Alongside Wix, Framer is one of the world’s leading No-Code builders – but where Wix feels like a PC, Framer feels like a Mac. Both are scalable, but Wix’s interface is more geared towards agencies and developers, while Framer feels clean, intuitive, and ideal for non-techies and creatives. If you are familiar with Figma, Framer will feel second nature.

Squarespace is user friendly, but a little clunky from a design standpoint and limited in its scalability for integrations. Webflow, while powerful, is closer to raw coding and can quickly become overwhelming for business owners.

I do not build in WordPress at all. It requires constant maintenance, patching, and management of hosting, SSL, and plugins just to achieve baseline performance. That creates unnecessary points of failure and major security risks. The only time I use WordPress is to migrate clients away from it and onto a modern, scalable, all-in-one platform that simplifies their site management.

What happens after the launch? Am I on my own?

Not at all! I only take on projects when if I can see myself working alongside clients in the long-run. Once your site is live, you will receive:

30 days of post-launch support to iron out any bugs or functionality issues.

Lifetime access to your client portal, which contains a library of support videos - including tutorials tailored to your specific build - so you know exactly how to update your site.

Access to all relevant training courses I create (Framer, SEO, etc.), which you can use at your own pace.

If you would prefer to stay hands-off, I also offer ongoing maintenance and growth packages so you can remain supported well into the future.
